MGH Advisory is a regional business advisory and tax accounting firm that services clients throughout NSW. The director, Greg Galvin, is a practising accountant with an excess of 25 years practicing experience.
We have a diversified client base which has expanded over the years to include farming families, small and medium businesses in industries such as retail, manufacturing, hospitality, wholesaling, transport, building & construction and other related trades, as well as most professional areas.
Our office is located in Dubbo. However, we service clients in many centres and cities throughout New South Wales and beyond. As our clients relocate based on new directions in business and employment, we work alongside them and continue to provide them with our business advisory and taxation services. We value our trusted role as advisers.
MGH Advisory was established in 1985. We have extensive support staff that includes accountants, book keepers and administration staff, all of whom play a valuable role within our business.

Meet Our Director & Senior Accountant
Greg Galvin – Director/Certified Practising Accountant
B Bus, CPA, Registered Tax Agent, JP
Greg is a Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) and a director/principal of MGH Advisory in the Dubbo office. He has 30 years of experience as an accountant in public practice.
Greg graduated from Charles Sturt University (Wagga Wagga campus) in 1990 with a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) degree and joined MGH Advisory in July 2003 as a principal.
Greg maintains a holistic approach in his provision of services to a wide range of small to medium-size business clients in Dubbo and throughout the Central and western areas of NSW. He also services a number of clients along the NSW coast and Sydney metropolitan areas.
Greg works closely with clients in many industry and service areas, including building and construction, retail, farming and grazing, medical and other professions. He has a keen interest in the provision of business management and advisory services, business structuring, business planning and development, financing, superannuation, and estate and succession planning. He gains particular satisfaction in seeing clients develop, grow and achieve their objectives as successful business owners, rewarding themselves with a tax-effective retirement plan.
Greg was raised on a farming property 100 miles west of Dubbo near the small township of Tullamore. He continues to maintain and enjoy a close association with the rural sector.
Away from work, Greg enjoys Rugby, tennis, staying fit and keeping pace with a close family network.
Maureen Collyer – Senior Accountant/Software Support
Adv Dip Acc, NIA, JP
Maureen has 22 years of accounting experience and commenced at MGH Advisory in July 2002.
Prior to joining MGH Advisory Maureen worked for the Westpac Bank for 17 years. She completed her Advanced Diploma of Accounting in 2005 and was admitted to the National Institute of Accountants (NIA) as an Associate member in 2005.
As a senior accountant, Maureen provides valuable support to MGH Advisory clients. She specialises in the areas of financial statement preparation for all entity types, superannuation, GST, and all taxation compliance areas; she is proficient in assisting clients with their tax planning needs.
Away from work, Maureen enjoys travelling, reading, gardening and handy crafts.
